|The literal meaning of Safa in English is clean. Being operated from chargeable batteries, the name Safa tempo has been given to these three wheelers.|
|Currently a fleet of over 600 Safa Tempos ply on 13 routes in Kathmandu and are supported by 31 charging stations.|
|A day's work will earn a driver with about 2500 Nepali rupees, of which she keeps 500 (less than 10usd) home and the rest goes to the operator.|
